遼寧省人民醫(yī)院是遼寧省衛(wèi)生計(jì)生委直屬的綜合性三級(jí)甲等醫(yī)院，為遼寧省中部區(qū)域醫(yī)療中心。醫(yī)院占地面積7.2萬(wàn)㎡，總建筑面積16.7萬(wàn)㎡，編制床位1788張，員工2256人。醫(yī)院內(nèi)設(shè)職能部門(mén)26個(gè)，臨床醫(yī)技科室47個(gè)，心血管內(nèi)科、神經(jīng)內(nèi)科、骨科、消化內(nèi)鏡中心是醫(yī)院四大優(yōu)勢(shì)學(xué)科,主辦國(guó)家核心期刊《中國(guó)美容整形外科雜志》。
遼寧省人民醫(yī)院創(chuàng)建于1949年，始稱(chēng)東北工人醫(yī)院，是全國(guó)第一所工人醫(yī)院。2015年遼寧省人民醫(yī)院榮獲“全國(guó)文明單位”。2016年醫(yī)院制定“十三五發(fā)展規(guī)劃”即五大戰(zhàn)略：通過(guò)JCI認(rèn)證，打造現(xiàn)代化管理型醫(yī)院；跨越式提升醫(yī)院信息化建設(shè)；打造省內(nèi)一流的“五位一體”急診急救體系；實(shí)施“十百千”人才工程；培育“四梁八柱”的學(xué)科體系。目標(biāo)是“用一流的技術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，一流的質(zhì)量安全，建設(shè)國(guó)內(nèi)一流的現(xiàn)代化管理型醫(yī)院”。 2017年6月，通過(guò)世界衛(wèi)生組織(WHO)認(rèn)可的JCI認(rèn)證，成為東北首家JCI認(rèn)證醫(yī)院。

The People’s Hospital of Liaoning Province, an all-around Third-level First-class hospital, is directly subordinate to Health and Family Planning Commission of Liaoning Province, and it is also taken as the medical center of central area of Liaoning province. The hospital covers an area of 72 thousand square meters with a total construction area of 167 thousand square meters, 1788 authorized beds and 2256 staff. The hospital has 26 administrative departments and 47 clinical and medical technology departments. Cardiovascular medicine, neurology, orthopedics and GI endoscope are hospital’s four preponderant disciplines. Our hospital also hosts national core journal—Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery.
The People’s Hospital of Liaoning Province which originally named Northeastern Workers’ Hospital which is our country’s first workers’ hospital was set up in 1949. In 2015, The people’s Hospital of Liaoning Province was awarded as “National Civilized Unit”. In 2016, the hospital mapped out “The 13th Five-Year plan”, that is “Five Major Strategies”. Ⅰ.Get JCI Accreditation and forge a modern managed hospital.Ⅱ.Realize hospital information construction’s leap-type promotion.Ⅲ.Make a first-class “Five In One” emergency system in Liaoning province.Ⅳ.Implement “Ten, Hundred, Thousand” talent project.Ⅴ.Build “Multiple Pillars” discipline system. The target of the hospital is “Using first-class technology and standard, first-class quality and safety to build a first-class modern managed hospital in nation”. In June 2017, the hospital got JCI accreditation which authorized by WHO and became the first JCI accreditation hospital in Northeastern China.
